Robots Volume 1, mixed by Nick AC MP3 Offline :: 75:25m runtime :: 91.0MB :: 160k/CBR encoded

We've been broadcasting electro since 1999, and running the Vocode Project since 2000 - it warms the old robot oil pans to see how many quality DJs and creative people are out there pushing this sound today in 2005. This mix is an example of one of those people. Nick AC comes correct with a brilliant mix that tickled my kopfnikken bone from the first bars of the first track.... ever imagined what dave clarke listens to when he's not puffing on cigars and banging hard electro and techno sets? He puffs on cigars and listens to this.

Smoothly blended, in a manner that the rare DJ pulls off *and which each DJ should* where you're still jamming, the music's inside your head and bouncing around in there and you never really know when the man is mixing or not.

Just when you think things are getting too spacy, out comes a classic scary robots-are-gonna-destroy-the-world technology-is-evil track with a bassline that shakes and wiggles right into your ass. Bangin!

Even the Radiohead - "Idioteque" track works in the context of this mix, surrounding by equally worthy records. I never dug this record, mostly because my connotation of it was Paul Oakenfold trying to be clever - wrapped around by warm snuggly electro beats however, it takes on a different context especially with Nick AC's smooth blending.

By the time we hit the Anthony Rother - "Back Home" track, all I can say is if you're not feeling this then perhaps its time to put down electro music and go cop a "Now This is Music Volume 17" or 'Lil Jon' album. Incredible emotive music.

The programming and mixing and track selection was top notch, through and through. My only complaint? He should have finished with the Rother track.[You didn't have a problem with US finishing December's mix with that track -ed.] Download this one today electro phreaks. I haven't heard a mix that stood out this much from the pack in a while, and it's DJ's like this that make me want to step my game up. If all you listen to is the balls to the wall latest 10 hard electro tracks, you probably wont dig this. If you dig electro music with soul and passion, you just found your top mix of the next several weeks to listen to. Yes, it's that good.
